Kopco's Pre-press Department utilizes the newest technology available. With the goal to stay current in the most recent design and printing techniques, Kopco's pre-press department is able to handle formats from various programs, platforms, and computer types.

The workflow is managed by AGFA issued ApogeeX software that utilizes the latest in workflow management and implementation. A job is then output directly to a Sherpa44m which prints using 7 colors on coated or uncoated stock.  Proofs can be ordered in a finished trimmed out book, imposed flats, or high-quality color accurate contract proofs.  In the near future, online proofing will also be available for an even quicker turnaround by utilizing AGFA's Delano workflow interface.

Jobs are then output direct to plate (CTP) capability thru one of two Galileo VXT PlateSetter. Jobs can be rendered at varying DPI's from 1200 to 2400 and line screen's from 100 to 150.  Additional rendering technologies including hybrid XM screening are available upon request and at an additional cost.
